Music as a Metaphor is a music blog that covers the music industry as a whole, as well as artists and bands - mainstream and underground, new and old - within the myriad rock genres.

In this age of technology, it’s easy to be swayed into a position of believing what you read online to be true. As a journalist of this era, I understand the importance of ‘getting your facts straight,’ and I think the easiest way of doing so is to get your hands dirty and actually experience your story. With that in mind, I’ve created Music as a Metaphor to write about my own experiences in the music industry - music I’ve listened to, concerts I’ve been to, people I’ve met - as well as my experiences with other aspects of life that are closely related to the lifestyle: everything from books to jobs to piercings and tattoos.
